Brenda Lee Rayford was born on June 23, 1965, in Hayti, Missouri to Sell Covington Sr. and the Late Willeen Covington. She Departed this life on Monday, August 26, 2024. She was 59 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her late husband: Jimmy Lee Rayford and her mother the late Willeen Covington, Stepfather: Anthony Jarvis one sister, 3 brothers, and one granddaughter: Angel Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her memory: father: Sell Covington Sr., 4 daughters: Cassie Taylor, Kewanda Taylor both of Hayti, MO., Shekelin Alexander and Keshia Beck both of Jonesboro, Ar., 2 sons: Tristan Taylor (Lakeesa) Kennett, MO, and Michael Taylor of Hayti, MO., 6 sisters: Ova Stone of Jonesboro, Ar., Tenika Covington, Lorene Covington, Latasha Covington, and Nicole Covington all of Hayi, and Jennifer Covington of St. Louis, MO., 3 brothers: Jason Covington of Jefferson City, MO. James Washington of Caruthersville, MO., and Terry Covington of Hayti, MO., 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and a very special cousin that she loved so much: Pearl "DOGG" Beal.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Evangelist Church in Hayti, MO. with Elder David Covington officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Hayti, MO.
