Carla Anderson Davis was born in Hayti, Missouri on August 9, 1949. She passed away on July 23, 2022, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri. She was 72 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Bonnie Anderson, brother: Larry Anderson, daughter: Amber Davis Roberts, and husband: Randel Davis.

Carla loved music. She was the Church Pianist for Temple Baptist Church for many years. She was very artistic, she could draw, crochet, do ceramics, and many other crafts. She also loved doing Artex Paintings. If you're old, you may remember what that is.  She had a huge heart. She gave and gave without expecting much in return. And of course, we can't forget PePee, her mean but lovable chihuahua. She loved that dog more than her own kids sometimes. They were together for 18 years. Most of all she was a character. You never knew what was going to come out of her mouth, especially when her sister Ginger was around. They could make the most hardened criminal's blush.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

Daughters: Dawn Davis (William) Middleton of Caruthersville and Larissa Davis (Russ) Counts of Eminence, MO.

Sister: Ginger Anderson (Jeff) Tarpley of Caruthersville, MO.

14 Grandchildren and 15 Greatgrandchildren

And a host of other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services were held July 30, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Brother Jim Tom Pilcher officiating.
