Carleen Crowe, born on February 19, 1940, in rural West Virginia, passed away on October 24, 2026. She dedicated her life to nursing, serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for over 30 years in local nursing homes in Hayti, Caruthersville, and Steele. Her compassion and commitment to patient care left a lasting impact on both colleagues and residents alike. She also held a cosmetology license.

Carleen was preceded in death by her parents, Hezekiah Estep, Mary Brown, and first husband Johnny Doyle Bostic, who passed in 1965.

Carleen is survived by her 2 sons, Johnny Lee Bostic, and Steve (Jennifer) Bostic, and her daughter, Jeri (Geoff) Farley. Her grandchildren, Blythe (Brittaney) Bostic, Claire Bostic, Molly Bostic, Alex (Lisa) Bostic, Maggie (JJ) Alvarez, Madelyn Roberts, Luke Roberts, Emma Farley, and Azlyn Farley. Numerous great-grandchildren. Her family will remember her not only for her professional contributions but also for the love and warmth she brought to their lives. Carleen's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched during her career and the love shared within her family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, MO., with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating.
