Carol Lee Fisk Nelson, 78, passed away on Friday March 22, 2024, in Memphis Tennessee. Carol was born on May 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Wayne and Gelena (Carter) Fisk.

Carol was born and raised in Steele, Missouri and graduated with the class of 1963 from Steele High School and remained friends with several of her classmates through the years. She attended Arkansas State University and Memphis State University. She was united in marriage to Robert Nelson on April 23, 1976, celebrating 38 years together before he preceded her in death on December 31, 2014. She co-owned and operated the R.Z. Nelson & Associates Insurance Agency in Memphis, Tennessee for 3o plus years the retiring around 2000, due to the health of her husband, she became his caretaker for the last 15 years of his life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and gambling at the casinos.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Gelena Fisk, her brother Robert Fisk in 04-05-1973, and her husband Robert Nelson.

She is survived by her son Chris Pritchard and his wife Amy of Germantown, Tennessee.

2 granddaughters Shay Pritchard of Germantown, Tennessee and Christy Pritchard of Memphis, Tennessee.

Private graveside services were held on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri. A charity that was dear to Carol was St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
