Carolyn Sue Mangrum was born on January 9, 1964, in Portageville, Missouri. She passed away on January 3, 2024, at her home in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was 59 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Quilla and Willie "Bill" Mayberry, 2 brothers: Billy and Rodney Mayberry, nephew: William "Roscoe" Mayberry, and life partner: Shannon Overturf.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed singing Karaoke and playing bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandkids.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

3 Children: Tonya (Eric Luye) Mangrum of Bragg City, MO., Jimmy (Jamie) Mangrum of Wardell, MO., and James Matthew Mangrum of Caruthersville, MO.

3 Brothers: Donald Mayberry of Caruthersville, MO., Douglas Mayberry of Peach Orchard, MO., and William Mayberry of Gobler, MO.

7 Grandchildren: Aydin Mayberry, Kylie Mayberry, Patience Davis, Paisley      Davis, Jensen Mangrum, Kelly (Rusty) Gurley, and Sam Barksdale.

One Great Grandchild: Memphis Reign Clark

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, January 6, 2024. at 1:00 in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, with Brother Doug Wahls officiating.  Pallbearers were Eric Luye, Robert Burgess, Matt Mangrum, Aydin, Jimmy, and Jeffery Mayberry. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.
