Caskenda Lee Haynes was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 4, 1949. She passed away on November 2, 2025, at the Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was 76 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loubie and Millie Haynes, and one great-grandson: Baby Brooks Upchurch.

Cathy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as the secretary and dispatcher for the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department for many years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Hayti, Missouri. She loved being involved with the youth group and serving as the church secretary for several years. Cathy was a big talker; she never met a stranger. She enjoyed reading her Bible, crocheting, and spoiling her precious dog, Candy. She also loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

Daughter: Theresa Upchurch Blagg and husband Chris of Caruthersville, MO.

2 Grandsons: Joshua Binkley of Dyersburg, TN.

Connor (Stormey) Upchurch of Dyersburg, TN.

2 Great Grandchildren: Jordyn Binkley and Ryan Upchurch, both of Dyersburg, TN.

Ex-husband: Bill Fisher of Portageville, MO.
