Clarence Ellis Morrison was born on August 16, 1941, in Hayti, MO.  He passed away on November 29, 2024, in Steele, MO., at 83 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Minnie (Cown) Morrison, 4 brothers, William, Leon, Marvin, and Robert Morrison, and 6 sisters, Alona Johnson, Fannie Duncan, Mary Mullins, Lola Lunningham, Elvetris Sotiriou, and Frances Morrison.

Ellis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed going deer hunting, fishing, and taking care of his fighting chickens.

He leaves the following to cherish his memory.

3 daughters Leslie Ergle of Florida, Tammy (Roy) Freeman of Michigan, and Judith Stewardson of Texas.

Stepson Joey (Mary) Alderidge of Hayti.

2 Brothers Dennis (Teresa) Morrison of Ashford, AL., and Keath (Marsha) Morrison of Kennett, MO.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00 in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Lee officiating. Pallbearers were Andrew, Wyatt, and Aaron Morrison, Joey Aldridge, Brian Farrar, and Michael Bell.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, MO.
