Daniya Lēshae Miller-Dunn, affectionately known as Niya or Niya Pooh, was born on May 17, 2004, in Hayti, Missouri, to Daryl Dunn and Tiffany Miller. On June 21, 2025, she peacefully transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and unconditional love. Daniya was a loving and devoted mother to her beloved son, Kamari. She embraced motherhood with deep passion and became a strong advocate for autism awareness, using her voice to uplift and support others. Her life was filled with color—literally and spiritually. She loved singing, church musicals, coloring, reading, and going out to eat with those she loved.

Her kind heart, charismatic personality, and joyful spirit made her unforgettable. She carried the rare gift of empathy, always able to feel with others, comfort those in need, and could brighten any room with her big, beautiful smile. She leaves behind cherished memories held by her son Kamari; maternal siblings Destyne, Ne'Viah, and Tristen: 13 paternal siblings, her beloved parents, grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniya poured love into everything she did and the memory of her as a protector and gentle soul continues on with all who knew her.
