Deborah Joy Herron, 71, of Caruthersville, Missouri, passed away at Cape Girardeau Hospital on October 14, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to everyone.

Deborah is survived by her two sisters, Angel Armstrong and Kay Prater, her brother Jr. Armstrong, three daughters Brian and Roxann Cruse, Cindy Herron, and daughter (in love) Allison Hicks, and one son James Ray. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren: Brittany Williams, David Williams, Justin Williams, Walter Bray, Johnny Bray, Michael Swearinger, Bethany Gunnels, Cambria Bray, Tina Cruse, Tei Cruse, and Tisha Cruse, as well as nineteen great-grandchildren.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband Ray Herron, Jerry B. Bray, Jeremy Bray, Walter Craig, Pat Lakey, Eunice Renfroe, and Cheryl Abbott.

Deborah dedicated her life to being a housewife and homemaker, finding joy in caring for her family. She loved to gamble and go fishing and was a mother figure to all she encountered.

Services for Deborah Herron will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to a charitable organization of your choice.
