Dorris Shelby of Pascola, Missouri was born February 12, 1963, in New Madrid County, Missouri. She sadly passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 60. She was a wonderful mother, nana, friend, and much more.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo Richard Book and Mary Irean Book, husband: Johnnie Shelby, 2 sisters: Lynn Book and Lorraine Kingston, one brother: Kenny Pepper, and significant other of many years: Eddie Cagle Jr.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory: one brother: David Book, 2 daughters: Samantha Gonzales of Paragould, Arkansas, Amber Cagle-Lafferty with husband Paul Wayne of Pascola, MO., 4 grandchildren: Jace and Carter Gonzales, Shaylee Ross and Zayven Lafferty. And a host of nieces, nephews, other family, loved ones, and friends.

Memorial services were held at her home in Pascola, MO.
