Douglas Edward Wright was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 3, 1953. He passed away on March 26, 2024, in Memphis, TN, at the age of 71.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Elizabeth (Wallace) Wright.

Doug retired from Signature Flight Support in Memphis in 2020 after 35 years in facility maintenance. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his sons hunting and fishing.

He leaves the following to cherish his memory:

3 sons, Jeffrey Wright, Kirk (Nicole) Wright, and Clint (Bethany) Wright all of Hernando, MS.,

2 sisters, Penny (Bobby) Irions of Hayti, MO. and Patty (Billy Joe) Hinchey of Phoenix, AZ.

1 Brother Stanley Wright of Murry, KY.

5 grandchildren, Hunter, Ashten, Hallie, Garrett, and Addison.

1 great grandson Ryan

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Brother Doug Wahls officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
