Eric Lynn Rainey was born on February 15, 1984, in Blytheville, Arkansas. He passed away on December 8, 2022, at his home in Sikeston, Missouri. He was 38 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his father: Marty Rainey, grandparents: Robert and Mae Russell, and uncle: Bryan Russell.

Eric was a loving son, father, and brother. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He also enjoyed watching crime shows on the I.D. channel. Eric loved spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves the following behind to cherish his memory:

2 Daughters: Kiley and Kera Rainey of Portageville, MO.

2 Sisters: Jordan Pavelka of Sikeston, MO. and Katherine Morin of Sikeston, MO.

1 Brother: John Essary of Springfield, MO.

And a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held December 17, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO. with Brother David Mercer officiating. Inurnment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, MO.
