Harold Gene Bivins was born in Portageville, Missouri on September 17, 1933. He passed away on March 17, 2025, at home in Wardell, Missouri. He was 91 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Vintress and Violet (Ring) Bivins, and 2 brothers: Bobby Bivins and Winfred Wayne Bivins.

Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a Deacon of the Wardell Baptist Church. He served as chairman of the Deacons, Sunday School Superintendent, and in other various positions within the church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves the following behind to cherish his memory:

Darl (Junilla) Bivins of Portageville, MO.

Skyla (Michael) Windham of Wardell, MO.

One brother: Lemual (Brenda) Bivins

4 Grandchildren: April Bivins Hammack, Tommy (Sherry) Swims, Jr., Brianna James, and Macy James

2 Great-Grandchildren: Haylie Hammack and Kolton Hammack

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Wardell Baptist Church with Brother Griff Walker officiating. Pallbearers were Dewayne Willams, Johnny Watkins, Roger Tarver, Travis Maddox, Harold Gene Wilson, Bobby Tanner, and Coy Wilson as honorary.  Burial was in the Wardell Cemetery with full military honors.
