James William Middleton was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on January 18, 1941. He passed away on November 22, 2024, at his home in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was 83 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James Everett and Mary Middleton, 2 brothers: Bill and Terry Midleton, and 3 sisters: Peggy Hooker, Dorothy Hatley, and Helen Cummings.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He worked as a foreman at the Brown Shoe Company in Caruthersville for many years until he retired. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching westerns, and working in his shop building things out of wood and metal. He also enjoyed his antique cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind the following to cherish his memory:

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO. with Pastor Kenny Lee officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, MO. Pallbearers were
