Cora Mae Josephine Jones was born May 29, 1944, in Hughes, Arkansas.  She passed away August 4, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She was 78 years, 2 months, and 6 days of age.

Joesphine was preceded in death by her father, Jesse James Jones, her mother, Susie McGee-Jones Grays, 2 sisters, Jewel Dean Jones, and Earlean Jones.

She loved growing plants, watching westerns on t.v., crocheting, working on puzzles, and was an avid San Fransico 49ers fan.  Josephine enjoyed doing community work, ministering to school children, and working at Green Thumb that helped senior citizens find jobs.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory:  2 sons, Kevin Devon Jones of Hayti, Daren Keefe Jones, and Angela of Toledo, Ohio.  4 brothers, Jesse James Jones of Abilene, Texas, Rap Brown of Hayti, MO., Calvin Dewayne Jones (Brenda) of Kennett, MO., and Ronald Keith McGee (Ronetta) of Toledo, Ohio.

9 grandchildren, Brianna Ellis, Janavia Nolen, JaTya Marsh, Dariana Jones, Deonna Jones, Kadaisha Jones, Daren Jones Jr., Starghae Lane, and Damorion Jones

2 great grandchildren: DJ Jones, and Sabastian Logan

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
