Obituary

Larry Gene Trawick was born on July 2, 1949, to the late Steve and Ella Mae Trawick. He was one of fourteen children. He had 1 Daughter Teresa Sullack, 8 brothers, and 5 sisters to precede him in death. Larry left school at an early age to take care of his family. Larry married Emma L. Trawick in March 1966 and had 4 children during their union. He started working at an early age. Larry moved from Hayti MO in 1974 to Chicago IL and worked as a construction worker for about 30 years until he was unable to work. In the Year of 2012, Larry moved to Bolivar TN, to live with his son Wayne (Vickey) Trawick that's where he resided until his passing. Larry was a very helpful individual and didn't mind helping anyone who needed the help. After years of working in construction and not being able to work, he finally was able to sit down and do what he was most passionate about, which was farming, gardening, and helping around the house with small maintenance work. On Friday, November 3, 2023, at approximately 7:00 AM, Larry G. Trawick was called home to rest after fighting a long battle of illness. Even though our hearts are sad, we find comfort in knowing that "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal." He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories four Sons: Glenn (Diane) Trawick of Nashville TN, Anthony Trawick of Cookeville TN, Wayne (Vickey) Trawick of Bolivar TN, Deshawn Trawick of Hayti MO, one stepdaughter Georgia Jean Whitehorn he raised one young man as his son Claude (Regina) Jones of Bolivar TN.
