Linda Ray Phelps Kennedy was born in Hayti, Missouri on November 9, 1944. She passed away at her home in Hayti, Missouri on May 12, 2023. She was 78 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: G.W. "Payday" and Ethel (Mitchell) Phelps, husband: Ron Kennedy, sisters: Mildred "Buck" Graham, Earnie Chase, and Thelma Palmer, stepson: Tony Kennedy and wife Pat.

Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She regularly attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti, Missouri. Linda enjoyed dancing, crossword puzzles, diy projects, jigsaw puzzles, and watching old westerns.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

3 Children: Stephanie (Craig) Stuard of Clarksville, TN.

Tina (Michael) Biglow of Arlington, TX.

Joey (Pam) Phillips of Spring Lake, NC.

2 Sisters: Shirley Phelps of Brentwood, MO.

Vicki Hanner of Hayti, MO.

7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti, MO. with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating. The visitation will be held May 20 ^th at 11:00 a.m.

Flowers are welcomed or memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
