Lois Marie Blackwell was born in South Fulton, Tennessee on September 4, 1935. She passed away on February 17, 2023, at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas at 87 years of age.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Dildine, husband J.W. Blackwell, 3 brothers Raymond, Larry, and J.L. Dildine, and 2 sisters Barbara Matthews, and Geneva Atkins.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends.  Lois was a very loving and caring person, and she loved cats.

She is survived by one brother Charlie Dildine and one sister Billie Dildine, Heather (Matt) Johnson, Andrea (Bryan) Chesser, Autumn Dildine, Charlie Dildine, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, MO., with John Blackwell officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Zion cemetery.
