Margaret Lena Shuburte was born on June 20, 1945, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She passed away in Kennett, Missouri, on December 7, 2025. She was 80 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clinton Earnest and Violet (Warren) Anderson, husband: Desmon "Dutch" Shuburte, and one sister: Mary Jane Vaughn.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She loved to dance. She worked at McDonald's for many years. She enjoyed working and visiting with all the customers.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

12 Grandchildren: Jonathan (William) Hinesly, Sarah (Russell) Hansen, Katie (Brad) Welch, Dewey Shuburte, Jr., Dillion (Samantha) Shuburte, Drew Shuburte, Amber (Stephen) Kilbreth, Kaleb (Brittney) Brents, Jessica (Josh) Swanson, Callie Selvidge, Ryker Barrett, and Adler Barrett.

20 Great Grandchildren: Gavin Brents, Landin and Hannah Kilbreth, Aiden and Hudson Brents, Oliver Canoy, Dewey III, Olivia, Theodora, Felix, and Olive Shuburte, Tanner and Trevor Hansen, Blake, Jace, and Logan Welch, Wyatt and Westin Jones, and Lakelyn and Tanner Swanson.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at 2:00 in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Doug Wahls officiating. Pallbearers were Dewey, Dillion, and Drew Shuburte, Kaleb, and Gavin Brents, Landin, and Stephen Kilbreth, Josh Swanson, Jonathan Hinesley, and Buford Barnett. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
