Mary Jane Vaughn was born on August 27, 1939, in Hayti, MO. She passed away on July 13, 2025, at Pemiscot Memorial Nursing Home in Hayti, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Violet (Warren) Anderson, her husband, Harley Vaughn, two sons, Jimmy Vaughn and Clinton Ray, and one daughter, Mary Ann Vaughn.

Mary Jane was a beloved member of the Hayti community. She was a very hard worker, and she loved her job. She worked delivering flowers for Flowers by Sanders for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Cavalry Baptist Church in Hayti, MO. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO, with Brother Doug Wahls officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, MO. Pallbearers were Daniel Vaughn, Dewey Shuburte, Alex Winstead, Greg Avitts, Rick Yarbrough, and Brandon Fraizer.
