Norman Lee Nelson Jr. was born in Hayti, Missouri on October 27, 1954. He passed away in Arnold, Missouri on March 11, 2024. He was 69 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his father: Norman Lee Nelson Sr. and his nephew: Dirk Hayes.

Lee was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

He leaves the following behind to cherish his memory:

Mother: Mariclare Nelson of Hayti, MO.

Sister: Christi (Gary) Hayes of Portageville, MO.

Brother: Brett Nelson of Hayti, MO.

Nieces: Brittany Bradfield of Hayti, MO., Mariclare Nelson of St. Louis, MO., and Taylor Bradfield of Portageville, MO.

And a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at noon in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor LeRon Braswell officiating. Burial will be in the Dry Bayou Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Brett Nelson, Tony Hayes, Jimmy Morgan, and Doug Khourie. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Hayes and Jerry Luellen.
