Pamela Sheridan Palmer was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on July 5, 1944. She passed away on October 2, 2023, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri. She was 79 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Mildred (Roberts) Jones, husband of 57 years: Kenneth Palmer, son: Jeff Palmer, and one sister: Sandy Jones Shaw.

Pam was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a devoted member of the Bakersville Church of Christ. She loved being a Sunday School teacher and participating in the lady's group at church. She enjoyed traveling, painting, baking, and sewing. She also loved spending time with her family, especially on holidays. The 4th of July was her favorite holiday because her dad served in the military.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

Sonya (Eric) Tanner of Hayti, MO.

4 Grandchildren: Cameron (Gina) Cooley, Jerry Smith, Hailea Erwin, and Emily Tanner

4 Great-Grandchildren: Colton, Ryker, Rylee, and Allie

One Sister: Judy Heynen of Bountiful, Utah

Brother: Charles (Rhonda) Jones of Freeport, Florida

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held October 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO. with Brother Matt Drake officiating. Burial was held in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, MO. Pallbearers were Cameron Cooley, Jerry Smith, Brandon Shaw, Paul Shaw, Jamie Palmer, Kevin Greenway, and Eric Tanner.
