Peggy E. Williamson, 91, formerly of Steele, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Delta South Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was born on November 04, 1932, in Steele, Missouri, the daughter of the late Randolph and Cren (Johnson) Williamson.

Peggy was an Evangelist and Missionary along with her sister Sarah in the Bahamas from 1961 to 1974. Peggy also remained in the Bahamas to continue teaching for many years after her sister left due to illness. Later Peggy achieved her Nursing degree and was a private nurse in Florida for many years. She enjoyed music, singing, playing the piano, and her accordion. She loved the LORD and was a blessing to many people.

She was preceded in death by her parents Randolph, and Cren Williamson, 5 Brothers: Ben, Otis, Jim & John Williamson, and Bill Chappell Sr.

3 sisters: Ocie Dillard, Sarah Williamson, and Ruth Young

1 Niece Becky Chappell Marler, 1 nephew Bill Chappell Jr.

Surviving are 1 niece Regina Hux and her husband Garry of Essex, MO

4 great-nieces Lacy Jai Huck, Carmen Touchette, Jennifer Chappell, and Kelly Ellis.

1 Great Nephew Jason Chappell and many dear friends who lives she has touched.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 2:30 pm at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri with Brother Charles Clark officiating. Visitation was held the same day from 2:00-2:30. Interment was in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri.
