Ricky Claude Turpen was born in Hayti, Missouri on May 28, 1956. He passed away on September 29, 2024, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO. He was 68 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Rebecca Earline Pullam Turpen, beloved wife of 46 years: Darla Turpen, and brother: Tommy Turpen.

Ricky worked in the maintenance department for many years at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball.

Funeral Services were held October 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO. with Brother Doug Wahls officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti. Pallbearers were Gary Jones, Buford Barnett, David Greer, Wayne McLemore, Jerry Hamm, and John Turpen. Honorary Pallbearers were Dale and Billy Jones.
