Roy Burse 75, of Steele, Missouri passed away at his home Tuesday, March 29, 2022. He was born on February 26, 1947, in Steele, Missouri. The son of the late Chriss and Crickett Mae (Wofford) Burse.  He was 75 years 1 month and 3 days of age.

Roy was a lifelong resident of Steele, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and going to the Casino in Caruthersville and Tunica rolling dice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chriss and Crickett Mae (Wofford) Burse. His wife, Joyce (Boone) Burse, Six brothers: C.L. Burse, Billy Lynn Burse, Jesse Burse, Allen Burse, Danny Burse, and Elvis Burse. Three sisters: Sue Burse Maxwell, Shirley Burse VanDevender, June Burse Woods.

He is survived by Three Children: Rhonda Burse Ashley of Manilla, Arkansas, Ronnie Burse of Burdett, Arkansas, and Misty Burse of Wisconsin. One brother, Chris Burse Jr. and his wife Barbara of Steele, Missouri, and Ten grandchildren.

And a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday April 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri, with Danny Lacer officiating.  Visitation from 1:00 pm until time of service. Interment was at the Mitchell Number 8 Cemetery in Cooter, Missouri.  Pallbearers were Billy Woods, Donnie Jackson, Michael Pierce, Tyler Burse, Lucas Burse, and Ronnie Burse.
