Stella Charlene (Pennington) Lomax, 68 of Caruthersville, Missouri passed away on Monday November 18, 2024, at her home with her daughters and grandchildren by her side. She was born in Little Rock Arkansas on April 6, 1956, the daughter of the late Charles Roosevelt and Mary Alice (Davidson) Pennington.

Stella graduated from Wynne Arkansas with the class of 1974. She enjoyed playing softball and later coached. A list of her many talents and hobbies were cooking, gardening, arts and crafts making Christmas ornaments, playing billiards, playing card and video games with the kids, listening to music and sewing with her mother. She owned and operated an auction house and worked at a nursing home in Walnut Ridge caring for the elderly. Her love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, was endless, her care for animals was forever especially her dogs' pee-wee and sugar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Deborah Ann McDonald, and 1 brother Charles Roosevelt Pennington Jr.

Her sister-in-law Peggy Lomax and her nephew Chuck McDonald.

Funeral services were held on Thursday November 21, 2024, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri with Brother Jim Tom Pilcher officiating. Interment was in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri.
