Sylvia Carlene Hamm was born in Gideon, Missouri on December 14, 1957. She passed away at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri on November 20, 2022. She was 64 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Myrtle Street, 2 brothers: Steve and Robert Street, and one sister: Ruth Ann Hamm.

Sylvia was a loving wife to her beloved husband of 21 years Jerry Hamm. She was a long-time member of the Braggadocio Baptist Church. Sylvia enjoyed watching wrestling, Wheel of Fortune, The Walton's and her favorite Leave It to Beaver. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory:

Graveside services were held on November 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, MO. with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, MO. Pallbearers were Russell Gilmore, Daimon Johnson, Pedro Ham, Dennis Trammel, David Greer, and Shawn Burkes.
