Valentin (Junior) Aranda Vela Jr., 70, born July 9, 1932, in Denver, Colorado passed away on August 16, 2022, in Hayti, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Valentine Aranda Sr. and Cresencia (Araminto) Vela and his wife: Viola Vela.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Caruthersville, MO. Valent i n married his wife Viola on December 28, 1968. He had 7 children and a bonus child. Valentin Vela III (Teresa), Victor Vela (Chyenne), Vincente Vela, Vivian Vela (Katie), (Bonus Child) Valentin Vela IV (Alexus), Norma Linda Vela, Sandy Martinez (Jorge), Hilary Rivera. He worked at FedEx. He enjoyed working on small engine projects. He also enjoyed watching Cowboy Movies and Kung Fu Movies as well has spending time with his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Olga, Benancio, Hortencia (Tencha), Olivia, and Half-sisters Ester, and Oralia. He is also survived by his children, numerous Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Monday, August 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Pastor James Adams officiating.  Pallbearers were family.  Interment was in Little Prairie in Caruthersville.
